26.10.07 Rage - Studio completed

Hi friends, the studiojob for the new RAGE album "Carved In Stone" is completed now, and finally we can listen to all tracks of the new CD by our HiFi rack with quiet conscience, and we can say: it has exactly become what we figured out before: STRAIGHT ON THE KISSER! (maybe you have to stopp after 2 - 3 songs, getting a cold beer for a rest period...) From the beginning we decided, to compose the songs for this CD more straightly, concentrating on cool riffs and catchy melodies. All the recordings with our co-producer, sound-engineer and almost 4th bandmember Charly Czajkowski, runs perfectly, as well as the final mix with Charlie Bauerfeind.

We've also started to cut the video material of the Wacken concert with the Lingua Mortis Orchestra, for using it as bonus material for the "Carved In Stone" CD.
We see us on tour in spring 2008, and we are looking forward to get your opinion about our new CD.

Even twice, Peavy, Victor and Andre will be seen on TV: first on PRO7 at the TV total Stock Car Crash Challenge 2007, where RAGE will rock the Gelsenkirchener Veltins-Arena together with the "Dicks On Fire", and on Premiere TV, where the Wacken Open Air concert with the Lingua Mortis Orchestra will be broadcasted.

Unfortunately, the South America tour again was cancelled by the promoters. We're really sorry for the fans, but it's not up to us, when the promoters didn't do their jobs in such a way, that concerts of foreign bands really happend. Hopefully the future will bring better conditions, so we can work with trustworthy promoters and play our shows for our South American fans.

Hey everyone!!
First of all thank you so much for the great shows in Tokyo and Osaka, we arrived to rehearse for 2 days in ParkSide studios right outside of Tokyo. We were being assisted and sponsored by the JP band called "Vigilante". Awesome band and great new friends.
And w e hooked up with Schmier from "Destruction" in Hard Rock Cafe Tokyo,.,..fun was had by all.
It was great to be back on stage as this was my 2nd time in Japan on stage/tour.
The biggest Thx go to Shiori, Luise and our Stagecrew....you guys rock. Also to our friends, Yuki, Sunny, Mayumi and Tomoko....see you next year!!!
21.08.07 Axxis / Helloween Tour confirmed

In 2006 AXXIS supported Helloween on a few gigs in Italy, Switzerland & Belgium. It was a great releationship and both bands got a lot of fun. In the end of 2006 AXXIS got the offer to join the autumn 2007 tour with Helloween and Gamma Ray.
"Immediately we said YES! and we organized everything (like the releasedate etc.) to let this tour happen. With Gamma Ray it's a perfect package for the fans...in my opinion!
Now we are really happy that everything works so well...and we're looking forward to present our new CD "Doom of Destiny!"

At the moment, Peavy, Victor and me are working with high pressure on our new album, with the working title "Carved in Stone". "Carved in Stone" is also the title of a new song, a super hymn, which could open the live shows in future. More titles are (under reserve): Open My Grave (very heavy & dark), One Step Ahead, Long Hard Road and Without You.

Preparations for new RAGE CD running up to speed!
In the next weeks we will start rehearsals and the pre-production for the next album. After the last shows we had a good feeling and its time to bring the new power on CD. We have started to prepare ourselves for the production of our new CD.

The Tracks for the upcoming CD are nailed down in the House of Music Studios Winterbach. We recorded a lot of stuff from a ballad to a highspeed double bass neck killer. Also typical Axxis songs and we are very proud about this stuff.
Dennis Ward did a great job so far and the drum sound is a killer. A new Pearl /Ward friendship was born. Also it is the first time that I used Zildjian A Customs in the studio, I love it!

RAGE have successfully ended their Lingua Mortis tour through Russia and the Ukraina. Special thanks to the orchestra and the fans for unforgetable shows. We're looking forward for more concerts at Masters of Rock and Wacken.

Due to the occasion of rehearsal in Minsk (Belarus) for the Lingua Mortis tour, RAGE have visited director Yankovsky (Irreal Pictures) in his studio, to plan a new video clip for the upcoming RAGE CD in next year.
The compilation CD "Into The Light" for the 20th anniversary of Nuclear Blast, composed by Victor Smolski, will be released on 1st. of June 2007.

Hallo Liebe Metalheadz,
möchte Euch heute mitteilen, daß ich ab sofort neuer fester Bestandteil von Rage bin. Über die Anfrage der Jungs habe ich mich natürlich tierisch gefreut und es ist mir eine Ehre nach Drummern wie Jörg Michael, Efti oder Mike Terrana nun auch zu Rage zu gehören und die Kessel zu vermöbeln.
Die Studioarbeit am Jubiläums Sampler für Nuclear Blast hat soviel Spass gemacht, daß ich mich echt auf die Zusammenarbeit mit Victor und Peavey freue, da es für mich auch eine Herausforderung ist mit so versierten Vollblutmusikern wie Vic oder nem festen Bestandteil der Metal Szene in Deutschland...nämlich Peavey zusammen zu arbeiten.
Derweil haben wir schon angefangen zu proben und werden Euch eine gute Auftaktshow mit ein paar richtigen Schmankerl der Rage Geschichte in Illingen präsentieren. Auf diesem Wege wünsche ich natürlich auch Mike viel Glück bei Masterplan und seinen weitereren Projekten da ich Ihn nach wie vor für einen geilen Trommler halte und er auch für mich immer eine Messlatte gelegt hat!
Möchte an dieser Stelle auch noch mal klarstellen das ich weiterhin Bestandteil von Axxis und Silent Force bleiben werde.
So liebe Freunde, freue mich auf ein geiles 2007 und was danach noch passiert und ..... natürlich Euch!

Hi Metalheadz, André Hilgers here. I would like to inform you today, that with immediate effect I'm the new drummer of RAGE. Surely I was very happy regarding the request of the guys, and it’s a great honor, belonging to RAGE now after drummers like Jörg Michael, Efti or Mike Terrana, lambasting the kettles. The studio job for the anniversary sampler for Nuclear Blast was so much fun, that I really look forward for the teamwork with Victor and Peavy, as it’s also a challenge for me, to work with such versed blooded musicians like Vic or an inherent part of the German metal scene... ,namely Peavy. Meanwhile, we’ve started rehearsal and we will present you a great show in Illingen, with some real highlights out of the RAGE history. I would like to wish Mike good luck with Masterplan and his next projects, as for me, he’s still a great drummer, putting an levelling bar for me! I also would like to clarify, that I remain part of Axxis and Silent Force.
So dear friends, looking forward to a cool 2007 and what will happen and ..... surely you! Keep the metal flame alive...

Momentan arbeite ich an einem grossen Projekt mit Victor Smolski - eine Kompilation CD für den 20. Jahrestag von Nuclear Blast. Es ist ein Album mit ungefähr 10 Songs verschiedener Bands der Nuclear Blast Geschichte, einschließlich eines neuen Rage Songs, produziert von Victor Smolski.

So liebe Bangers....habe mal ein paar schicke Fotos online gestellt. Viel Spaß beim stöbern....
Eine geile Tour ist zu Ende...leider. Möchte mich an dieser Stelle bei unserer Crew Sasa, Michel, Markus, Carlo, Thierry , Uwe und natürlich Nicky und Jay bedanken die jeden Tag einen Mega Job gemacht haben. Desweiteren ist die Tour sehr entspannt verlaufen.
Grosses Lob an die Jungs um Alex Kraft von Dezperadoz... hat echt Spaß gemacht mit Euch und wir trinken bestimmt mal wieder einen irgendwo auf der Welt...hicks.... Viel Spass auf der Tour mit Gotthard ;-).
Dank geht auch an die Jungs von Krokus die fast jeden Abend nach uns spielen durften... dadurch war mehr Bier im Kühlschrank ;-)...und die Aftershow Partys holen wir noch nach.
Und....natürlich Euch den Fans die zahlreich erschienen sind und jeden Abend zu etwas besonderem gemacht haben....Cheers...sehen uns!

15.05.06 Silent Force CD...

Das nunmehr 4 Silent Force Album wird im Oktober über AFM Records rauskommen und "Walk the Earth" heissen. Momentan ist Denis Ward kräftig am werkeln und wird bald den Gesang mit DC aufnehmen.
The title for Silent Force's fourth output will be "WALK THE EARTH". The album is going to be released in October on AFM records.

Tony Martin & Neil Murray on new Empire Album
Those of you who follow Tony Martin's career will be interested in this one. As you know, Tony has been one of the more active Sabbath members in terms of recording and releasing. Outside of his own second solo album Scream which was released last year, he's kept going elsewhere. His latest is the new Empire album, entitled "The Raven Ride". It's due out in the Spring of 2006, and while I don't have a lot of details on it yet, I do have some stuff to bring you on it. One is this picture of the Empire band from 2006. The other Black Sabbath connection besides Tony Martin is Neil Murray who plays bass. The drummer is Andre Hilgers who played in Axxis & Silent Force.
The Empire project is of course headed by Rolf Munkees who plays guitar as well as keyboards on the new project. Here's a few websites for you to check out regarding Empire:
Empire's last album was entitled Trading Souls (in 2003), and also featured Martin & Murray on it. It also had Don Airey as well (Sabbath, Purple). You can still buy Trading Souls on Amazon.com. If you liked the Martin era of Black Sabbath, you should check it out. Even if you didn't, you should still check it out.
Below some early pre-release press on 'The Raven Ride'. Once I get more information, I'll be sure to pass it along. But for now, make sure and check out the free mp3 sample download from the new album linked to in the press text.

14.11.05 Silent Force Studio...

Haben letztes Wochenende im Studio ne menge Spass gehabt. Drums für die nächste CD sind fertig. Dennis Ward hat mal wieder nen klasse Job abgeliefert und mein Drumsound gefällt mir mal so richtig gut. Fette Kicks und ne geile Snare... Haben natürlich ein paar Fotos gemacht die Ihr ab sofort unter meiner Gallery begutachten könnt.

Die neue Axxis Homepage erscheint in neuem Gewand. Bandinfos sind nun bearbeitet und dürfen von Euch gelesen und beschmunzelt werden.
Neue Fotos kommen auch bald und das Album ist ne Granate geworden. Denis Ward weiss halt was er macht...und wir natürlich auch!
02.11.05 Recorddeals Silent Force...

So... jetzt ist es offiziell, wir haben einen neuen Deal mit AFM und King Records in Japan unterschrieben und freuen uns sehr auf die Zusammenarbeit. Die Aufnahmen zum Worlds Apart Nachfolger starten nächste Woche und ich werde mich mal wieder im House of Music einfinden um dort die Drums mit Dennis Ward aufzunehmen. Die Songs wurden von uns allen zusammen geschrieben und befinden sich stilistisch im gleichen Fahrwasser wie Worlds Apart, was uns immerhin eine Japantour ermöglichte. Erscheinen soll das gute Stück dann Anfang 2006.
26.10.05 Hauenstein fällt aus...

Das Konzert in Hauenstein fällt nun definitiv aus. Gerüchte sagen ,dass der Veranstalter sich übernommen haben soll und viele Verluste bei den letzen Konzerten eingefahren hat. Dies kam für uns sehr überraschend und bis gestern haben wir noch am neuen Programm geprobt um Euch, den Fans neue Songs des im Januar erscheinenden Albums "Paradise in Flames" zu präsentieren. Wir von unserer Seite waren bereit am Samstag Vollgas zu geben.
Im November stehen die Aufnahmen der neuen Silent Force CD im House of Music mit Dennis Ward an.
Für Ende des Jahres ist noch die neue Empire CD unter anderem mit Tony Martin (ex- Black Sabbath ) und Neil Murray (Ex- Whitesnake ) in Vorbereitung. Diese wird bei AOR Heaven Anfang 2006 erscheinen. Der Stil lässt sich einfach erklären... Black Sabbath zu Headless Cross Zeiten. Klasse Songs. Seid gespannt!
Desweiteren sind schon etwaige Promoshows von Axxis u.a. mit Gotthard Ende des Jahres in Planung. Wenn wir uns dort nicht sehen spätestens nächstes Jahr auf Tour!
07.10.05 Axxis Release...

Langsam aber sicher nimmt das neue Album „ Paradise In Flames “ , das am 20.Januar das Licht der Plattenläden erblicken wird, konkrete Gestalt an. Das Album ist fertig gemastert und ist ein echter Killer geworden.Fotos haben wir auch schon gemacht und sahen ganz passable aus ... hoffe ich. Im Repertoire werden neben etlichen AXXIS-typischen Gassenhauer-Hymnen auch einige Tracks sein, die Bernhard zusammen mit der Sängerin Lakonia eingesungen hat die uns auch schon die letzten Shows Live unterstützt hat. Ihr dürft gespannt sein.

Am 21.05.2005 wird´s ein Konzert im CROSSROAD CLUB bei Zürich ( www.crossroad-club.ch ) geben . Michael Bormann & Friends. Songlich wird´s einige Überraschungen geben. Das Material wird sich aus den verschiedensten Projekten, an den Michael beteiligt war, zusammensetzen. Seit Januar 2005 arbeiten wir mit 3 Sängerinen, einem Percussionisten und einem zusätzlichen Gitarristen an den Aufnahmen zu einer Akustik CD. Ob und wann wir die Aufnahmen veröffentlichen ist noch nicht klar aber sobald sich was tut werde ich Euch informieren!

Yes, were back! Am 13 August werden wir in der Zeche Bochum Cans supporten. Dabei werden wir unsere neue Scheibe vorstellen. Natürlich freuen wir uns tierisch Euch wieder Live gegenüber zu stehen! Festgesetzt sind 45 min. wo unteranderem alte und auch neue Songs gespielt werden! Auch das warten hat sich gelohnt seit heute könnt Ihr den ersten Song auf der Noise Homepage downloaden. 29.05.04 Silent Force Mix...

So meine lieben Metal Freunde, der Mix unserer neuen Silent Force Scheibe ist im Sack!
Und wiedermal wurden unsere Erwartungen bestätigt. Dieses wird definitiv das melodischste, powervollste Album das wir je gemacht haben und Dennis Ward (Produzent) hat wie immer bewiesen daß er unschlagbar ist. Derweil kümmern wir uns jetzt ums Artwork und Alex und ich werden nächste Woche anfangen Songs für die nächste Scheiblette zu schreiben.
Eine Promotour ist geplant, aber dazu später mehr. Werde in der kommenden Woche dann auch mal meine Gallery auf Vordermann bringen. Natürlich sind die Tourfotos schon online unter < Click me> . Diese wurden natürlich Privat oder auch von Euch den Fans geschossen....danke dafür!
Nun ja...falls noch irgendwelche Fragen offen sein sollten besucht mein Gästebuch oder unser Silent Force Forum! Übrigens hat unsere Page ein neues Outfit und ... ja ich mache diese Page nicht mehr aus Zeitgründen ... aber schön ist sie allemal ;-)
