Ich wurde am 30.08.1974 in Remscheid/NRW geboren. Mit 7 Jahren saß ich zum ersten mal an einer Schießbude und mit 10 Jahren hab ich dann intensiv angefangen Schlagzeug zu spielen.

Danach folgten 6 Jahre Unterricht nach Noten in den Bereichen Rock – Jazz, sowie 3 Jahre Gitarren- und 2 Jahre Gesangsunterricht.

Von 1986-1989 habe ich in diversen Formationen aller stilistischen Bereiche des Metals gespielt und auch zahlreiche Live-Erfahrungen gesammelt.

1989 bin ich bei der Band „Ninja“ aus Wuppertal eingestiegen und habe u.a. die CD „Liberty“ eingespielt. Zwischenzeitlich half ich noch 3 weiteren Bands sowohl Live als auch für Demo-Zwecke aus.

Direkt im Anschluss an „Ninja“, also ab 1993, war ich bei der Speedmetal Band „Mendacious Messiah“ aus Bielefeld tätig und habe bei ca 10 Konzerten und bei deren Demotape mitgewirkt.

Von 1994-1997 habe ich bei der Metalformation „Vanize“ aus Wuppertal gespielt. In dieser Zeit fanden etwa 30-40 Konzerte statt, u.a. in der alten DDR, Berlin etc., es wurde die CD „Twins?“ aufgenommen und ein Endorsementvertrag mit Paiste folgte.

Ab 1997 half ich dann bei der Speedmetalband „Regicide“ von Wuppertal / heute „Cyberia“ , aus. Es fanden ca. 10 Auftritte innerhalb NRW's statt. Desweiteren habe ich auch die CD eingespielt, deren Erscheinung fürs Folgejahr geplant war.

Ausserdem habe ich 1997 für ca. 6 Konzerte bei der Band „Noisehunter“ aus Dormagen gespielt, hatte einen Studiojob bei „Asmodina“ aus Leverkusen, Stil Deathmetal, und habe die Solo-CD von Sinner –Gitarristen Alex Beyrodt in Duisburg eingetrommelt.

1998 bin ich dann bei der Coverband „Bourbon-Street“ eingestiegen und das Soloprojekt Alex B. verwandelte sich zur festen Band „The Sygnet“ . Es wurde ein Management-Vertrag mit „Bottom Row“ unterzeichnet und vier Shows im Vorprogramm von „Pink Cream 69“ absolviert.

Im Anschluss daran wurde der Deal mit ZYX/Germany bestätigt und es folgte eine vierwöchige Deutschland-Tour mit „Doro“.

Im darauf folgenden Jahr, sprich 1999, fand zum einen das Wacken Open Air mit „The Sygnet“ statt und deren zweite CD wurde im „House of Music“ bei Stuttgart vorbereitet, produziert von Achim Köhler (u.a. Sinner, Primel Fear etc.)

Im Jahre 1999 wurde die Band „Silent Force“ gegründet und im Juni 2000 das erste Album „The Empire of Future“ veröffentlicht.

Im August 2000 kam es dann letztendlich zum Ausstieg bei „Bourbon-Street“ , im Oktober fanden zwei Festival-Shows mit „Silent Force“ in Frankreich und darauf folgte im November direkt eine zweiwöchige Europatour im Vorprogramm von „Stratovarius“ .

Im Mai 2001 begannen wir mit den Studioarbeiten zum zweiten Silent Force Album „Infatuator“ und ich stieg bei der Cover Rock Band „Velvet Green“ ein, bevor dann im August 2001 das „Wacken Open Air“ mit „Silent Force“ auf dem Programm stand.

Im September 2001 folgten Studioaufnahmen mit „Velvet Green“ und im November gleichen Jahres wurde die „Silent Force“ Scheibe „Infatuator“ veröffentlicht.

Im darauffolgenden Jahr, genauer im März 2002, fand dann eine dreiwöchige „Silent Force“ Tour im Vorprogramm der Brasilianer „Angra“ quer durch Europa statt.

Kurz danach folgte dann im Mai 2002 noch eine Deutschlandtour als Support von U.D.O

Das dritte „Silent Force“ Album „Worlds Apart“ wurde im Juni 2003 im „House of Audio“ in Karlsdorf mit Producer Dennis Ward aufgenommen.

Seit August 2003 helfe ich der Band „Axxis“ für diverse Festival-Shows aus und begleitete die Jungs auf der „Time Machine“ Tour, welche im März 2004 stattfand.

Zwischenzeitlich erledigte ich verschiedene Studiojobs für diverse Bands und..... bin seit geraumer Zeit wieder fester Bestandteil von Bourbon Street, der Biker Cover Rockband.

Darauf folgte eine Japantour mit Silent Force Anfang 2005. Danach wurde die 2. Razorback CD produziert. Im Anschluß schrieben wir mit Axxis neue Songs und nahmen diese unter Anleitung von Dennis Ward im House of Audio auf.

Produktion der Band Empire "The Raven Ride", u.a. Tony Martin (ex- Black Sabbath), Neil Murray (ex- Whitesnake), die unter der Flagge von AOR Heaven im Frühjahr 2006 veröffentlicht wird.

Charteinstieg auf Platz 45 mit Axxis "Paradise in Flames" , Promoshows in Deutschland mit Gotthard und im Ausland mit Helloween. Mai 2006 Double Headliner Tour mit Krokus.

Das vierte „Silent Force“ Album „Walk the earth “ wurde im Juni 2006 im „House of Music “ mit Producer Dennis Ward aufgenommen.

Ende 2006 wurde André neuer Drummer bei der Metalformation "RAGE", erster Einsatz waren gleich die Konzerte mit dem "Lingua Mortis Orchester" Anfang
2007 in Russland, Ukraine, in Tschechien und zudem auf dem "Wacken Open Air"
Festival.

Im Februar 2007 erscheint das Silent Force Album "Walk the Earth" dem Markt, verbunden mit Charteinstieg und Konzertreise in Japan.

Im Herbst 2007 spielen "RAGE" ihr neues Album "Carved In Stone" im VPS Studio in Hamm ein.

Das neue "AXXIS" Album "Doom Of Destiny" wird im November von AFM Records veröffentlicht, "AXXIS" gehen gemeinsam mit "HELLOWEEN" und "GAMMA RAY" auf Europatour.

Ende 2007 Studiojob für Markus Grosskopfs "Bassinvaders" Projekt.

Im Februar 2008 erscheint das neue "RAGE" Album "Carved In Stone" auf dem Markt, eine ausgedehnte Europatour folgt im April/Mai.

Februar 2010 erscheint erneut das neue "Rage" Album "Strings to a web", Europa, Südamerika, Japan Tour folgen

Andre Hilgers was born on 30th of August 1974 in Remscheid/NRW. Aged 7 years, he was sitting behind a drum for the first time, concentrating on learning drums with 10. After that he took lessons at rock – jazz style for 6 years, as well as 3 years guitar and 2 years singing lessons.

1986-1989 - Andre Hilgers played in different metal formations, covering all stylistic fields, and was collecting lots of live experiences.

1989 - Andre joined the band "Ninja" from Wuppertal and recorded the CD "Liberty". In the meantime he helped out 3 other bands as well as for live shows and also demo purposes.

Subsequent to "Ninja", so in 1993, Andre Hilgers joined the speedmetal band "Mendacious Messiah" from Bielefeld, playing the drums at 10 concerts and their demotape.

1994-1997 - Andre played with the metal formation "Vanize" from Wuppertal. During this time almost 30-40 concerts took place at, some in former East Germany, in Berlin etc. The CD "Twins?" was recorded and an endorsement contract with Paiste was signed.

1997 - Furthermore Andre played 6 concerts with the band "Noisehunter" from Dormagen, had a studio job for "Asmodina" from Leverkusen, style deathmetal, and played the drums for the solo CD of "Sinner" guitarist Alex Beyrodt in Duisburg.

1998 - Joined the coverband "Bourbon-Street". The solo project "Alex B." changed to the band "The Sygnet". A management contract with "Bottom Row" was signed and four shows as support band of "Pink Cream 69" were played.

Subsequent to that, a the deal with ZYX / Germany was confirmed, and a four weeks tour through Germany together with "Doro" followed.

1999 - "The Sygnet" played on "Wacken open air" and their second CD was set up in the "House of Music" near Stuttgart, produced by Achim Köhler (u.a. Sinner, Primel Fear etc.)

1999 - The band "Silent Force" was founded. In June 2000 the first album "The Empire of Future" was released.

2000 - Andre feft "Bourbon-Street" in August. In October, two festival shows with "Silent Force" were played in France, a two weeks European tour as support of "Stratovarius" followed in November.

2001 - Working on second album of "Silent Force", titled "Infatuator" in May. Andre Hilgers joined the cover rock band "Velvet Green", before playing at the "Wacken open air" with "Silent Force" in August.

2001 - Studio recording with "Velvet Green" took part in September. In November same year the "Silent Force" CD "Infatuator" was released.

2002 - In March, Andre took part at a three weeks European tour with "Silent Force" as support of the Brazilian band "Angra".

2002 - A tour through Germany with "Silent Force" as support of "U.D.O." followed.

2003 - The third "Silent Force" album, entitled "Worlds Apart", was recorded at the "House of Audio" in Karlsdorf by producer Dennis Ward.

2003 - Helped out the band "Axxis" for some festival shows.

2004 - Joined "Axxis" on their "Time Machine" tour in March 2004.

2004 - Andre did various studio jobs for diverse bands and is regular member of the biker cover rockband "Bourbon Street" again.

2005 - Beginning of 2005 Japanese tour with "Silent Force". After that the second "Razorback" CD was produced. Subsequent to that, new songs for "Axxis" were composed and recorded by Dennis Ward in the "House of Audio".

2006 - Production of the band Empire "The Raven Ride", u.a. Tony Martin (ex- Black Sabbath), Neil Murray (ex- Whitesnake), which was released by AOR Heaven in spring 2006.

2006 - Chart entry with "Axxis" "Paradise in Flames", promo shows with "Gotthard" in Germany and with "Helloween" abroad. In May double headliner tour with "Krokus".

2006 - The 4th "Silent Force" album, entitled "Walk the earth ", was recorded at the "House of Music " by producer Dennis Ward.

2006 - Joined the metal band RAGE at the end of the year.

2007 - Touring Russia, Ukrain, Czech Republic and finally the "Wacken Open Air" festival in Germany together with "RAGE" and the "Lingua Mortis Orchestra" (Minsk/Belarus).

2007 - The Silent Force album "Walk the Earth" was released on the market, followed by an Japnese tour and an entry at the Japanese charts.

2007 - The new "RAGE" album "Carved In Stone" was recorde at the VPS studio in Hamm in September.

2007 - The new "AXXIS" album "Doom Of Destiny" was released by AFM Records, and "AXXIS" toured together with "HELLOWEEN" and "GAMMA RAY" through Europe.

2007 - End of the year, studiojob for Markus Grosskopfs "Bassinvaders" project.
